Susie was born in Wichita, Kansas and grew up in the greater Kansas City area. She earned her law degree at the University of Missouri at Kansas City and a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Southern Methodist University. Susie received the American Jurisprudence Award for Professional Responsibility while attending law school. Her legal experience has been primarily in the areas of civil and commercial litigation. Susie is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the District of Kansas, and the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri. She is also licensed to practice in Kansas, Missouri and Kentucky state courts. She currently practices in the areas of construction law, creditor’s rights, civil and commercial litigation.
     Susie has been involved extensively in the Kansas City community, serving as the Business Support Chairman for the first Junior League of Kansas City, Missouri’s Holiday Mart, a past Treasurer of the BOTAR Organization, and as the Treasurer for “The Launch”, the first fund-raiser for Union Station’s Science City. She is a Past Board member of Jewish Vocational Services, and has volunteered on committees at the Nelson-Atkins Museum, Friends of the Zoo, Rose Brooks, and the American Heart Association. Susan is a member of the Women’s Central Exchange.
